We all like to feel happy, and our Building Happiness & Wellbeing module uses positive psychology to promote happiness and wellbeing. We will focus on what makes and keeps people happy, and work through activities from the Black Dog Institute.
This module offers an alternative to the usual problem-solving approach, by asking you to focus on the positive things in your life. Although positive emotions can’t completely cancel out the negative, this module will help you become aware of your emotions.
Other modules are available, including:
Managing Loss & Major Life Changes
Managing Stress & Overload
Managing Fear & Anxiety
Tackling Unhelpful Thinking
Taking Charge of your Worry
Increasing Pleasurable Activities
Breathing & Relaxation
We work with the Black Dog Institute, a leading research facility, which provides content that was part of a successful randomised control trial – the gold standard in research! The trial demonstrated a significant reduction in symptoms of stress, anxiety and low mood in just a few weeks.
It's kind of like having a pocket therapist.
My Possible Self is featured in the NHS Digital Apps Library, and Good Thinking - an NHS approved wellbeing service.
